First Step: Knead the Flour
Bring the Yeast to Life: Put the sugar and warmed milk into a small bowl and mix. Before letting it rest for 5–10 minutes to become frothy, sprinkle the active dry yeast on top.
Combine with Dry The flour and salt should be mixed together in a big basin. Toss the cinnamon into the flour mixture if you're using it.
Melt the butter in a separate dish. Whisk in the egg and vanilla essence. Combine the wet ingredients.
Two, Prepare the Dough Mix. Toss the flour mixture with the yeast mixture and butter mixture. Mix until a ball is formed. This is the time to incorporate any dried cranberries or raisins into the dough.
To make the dough smooth and elastic, knead it for 8 to 10 minutes on a lightly floured surface after turning it out. An alternative is to use a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook.
Third, Give the dough time to rise.
To begin, oil a bowl and set aside the dough to rise for 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size. You may also use plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel to cover it.
Step 4: Form and Subsequent Ascent
Punch down the dough once it has risen to remove any excess air, and then shape it. Form into a loaf after turning it out onto a surface that has been gently dusted with flour. Put the formed dough into a greased loaf pan that is 9×5 inches in diameter.
The second rise should take place in a warm spot for 30 to 45 minutes, or until the loaf is about an inch higher than the pan's edge. To cover it, use a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap.
Fifth, Preheat the oven and bake the bread.
Heat oven to preheating temperature. Turn the oven on high heat (375°F, 190°C).
After the oven is warmed, bake the bread for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it becomes golden and sounds hollow when tapped. Use an instant-read thermometer to verify when the meat is done; a temperature of around 190°F, or 88°C, is considered done.
Stage 6: Allow to Cool Before Serving
After taking the bread out of the oven, let it aside to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan. The next step is to let the bread cool entirely on a wire rack.
After the bread has cooled, cut it into slices and top each with your preferred breakfast spread, whether it butter, jam, honey, or cream cheese.
Suggestions for Mouth-Watering Morning Bread:
Warm For the yeast to work effectively, the milk must be warm, not hot.
To avoid bread that is too thick, measure the flour by spooning it into a measuring cup and then leveling it off.
Ingredients: Personalize your morning bread by including your favorite nuts, seeds, or chocolate chips into the dough.
The bread can keep for three days at room temperature if sealed in a container. Frozen bread keeps well for extended periods of time. To make thawing and using it easier, slice it before freezing.
For the ideal morning meal, pair your baked bread with a steaming mug of tea or coffee.
